This Hong Kong townhouse project presents an exciting challenge as our returning clients from Beijing seek to maintain the signature style of our previous design at the Shunyi villa in Beijing.

Drawing inspiration from simplicity and minimalism, we opt for bright tones and desaturated wood colors to create a harmonious atmosphere. The unique layout of the new house, divided into two parts with each side half a floor apart, offers an opportunity for innovative design solutions.

We capitalize on this structural feature by seamlessly connecting the living room with the dining area while maintaining distinct zones on different levels. Addressing the 70cm floor height differential creatively, we eschew traditional handrails in favor of a 90cm high bookshelf, adding functionality to the living space while concealing the electrical box and defining the dining area.

The picturesque landscape of Hong Kong, characterized by verdant mountains, azure sea, and clear skies, permeates the interior spaces through generous windows and glass sliding doors. Leveraging the kitchen's elevated position, we incorporate various openings that interact with the modern garden design, seamlessly merging indoor and outdoor living.

In the children's bedrooms, adaptable mobile partitions offer flexibility, allowing the boys to communicate or enjoy privacy as desired.

The master bedroom, situated on the top floor, epitomizes luxury and functionality. Integrating multiple functions seamlessly, the space features a studio and walk-in closet beneath expansive windows, flooding the area with natural light and offering panoramic views of the sky. Thoughtfully placed sports and relaxation areas ensure comfort and convenience, while the captivating vistas of the ocean and mountains provide a serene backdrop.

Through meticulous design and thoughtful integration of elements, we create a space that not only reflects our clients' preferences but also harmonizes with the surrounding natural beauty of Hong Kong.
