Harbin Lecture
AE Architects CEO was invited to give a lecture in Harbin’s Wanda Hall as part of the launch of HAY, a high-end European furniture brand.
The speech explained AE Architects design philosophy as well as the evolution of our projects from small size to extra large. Our firm is influenced by western modern design and the Japanese minimalistic approach and conception of space. Pure and simple geometry that create a calm place well connected with nature in a symbolic way. Abel Erazo explained as well the idea of folding surfaces, like origami paper, as our main design language. The projects may vary in size and functions, but our unique process and method of folding a surface that continuously create ceiling, wall and floor and our design philosophy remain in all the projects.
