TZ industrial park renovation is a project covering 25,000 sqm of an old factory area turned into modern office spaces for the growing district of Tongzhou. The plan include restaurants, learning school, cafes and other facilities. 

The design concept is based on a modern industrial geometry and a new color set for the whole masterplan. Including green areas, terraces and outdoor spaces. In the roof deck we add a basketball court in building C and an auditorium for events in building D. 

We didn’t want to destroy the original structure but transform it without high cost and too long time spent on the construction.Therefor we focus on key areas and high contrast color tones. Exploring the gray tones as background we add slightly different tones of yellow from the Pantone palette. The square geometry not only make the construction time and cost shorter and more efficient but also create a language which appear around the 3 dimensions of the project, sometimes as a gate, sometimes as windows or walls.The result is a brand new compound which welcome companies of all sizes to work in a young, creative and contemporary environment where sports, art, leisure and work life style converge together.
